Default Ilok Blew Out My Mac

I was all excited. I bought the upgrade. downloaded the ilok manager and moved my license. Then it hung and did nothing for 10 minutes while it said it was updating my ilok. After 20 minutes I had to force quit.

UPDATE - for some reason my monitor stopped working when I rebooted. So it looks like I need a new monitor and perhaps things aren't too bad off.
