Why did it stop recording? after 240mins....

hmm.. i got an 80 gig harddisk and i was doing a test at 24b 48k 16 tracks.. and its stopped recording after about 240 minuets... this only filled 30 gigs of the harddisk space...
seems kinda strange.. how do i get it to not allocate a certain space and let it fill the whole hard disk??

i got a big gig to record....!

are you really going to be recording for more than 240 minutes at a time though? (aren't going to stop between bands, etc?) because 240 minutes straight seems pretty damn good.

There are 2 things to remember.. the 2 gig file limit for each sound file.. and the preference for Open Ended Record Allocation... which of the 2 is it?
