Waves - Does WUP count from the date of purchase or the date of install/registration?

I recently bought a couple of waves plugins that were on sale - Bass Rider, Tune and Kramer Master Tape, but I am waiting to install/register until they are ready for PT11. Now my question is, does WUP count from the date of purchase or the date of install/registration?

It counts from the day they show up in your waves account, so the date of registration.

But you can't use them before you register and thus get the license

@JFreak: Hobbyist here, with limited time and a lot to track/record ahead... so I can live without them until Waves releases AAX2, hope it won't take forever though :)
