Default Control VSTi parameters?

Is there any way to control VST instrument parameters with the Euphonix MC Mix? Probably not, as I realize it's not a midi controller, but it would be awesome if you could, and flip them all down to faders...
Anyone?

Actually, scratch that last comment, I saw on the video how it works with Logic, but it doesn't work with Cubase. Anyone know a way to make it work with Cubase, or if not can we have that functionality in an update please?
Cheers.

EDIT - after more searching forums and the net I see that it doesn't control vsti's on Cubase as it takes some efforts from both manufacturers. I can kinda see why Steiny wouldn't want it otherwise nobody
would have to buy that hideous controller thing they make. Oh we'll maybe one day we can all get along.

All you do is select instrument track on the MC mix and hit 'input' (shift + insert)

OK thanks.

Looks like it's simply: press Input, then choose instrument by clicking knob top. Don't even need to select the track first.

...Sadly it doesn't seem to display parameter names for plugins that use dynamic assignment for automation parameters (e.g Omnisphere, much NI stuff). This seems to have tripped up Logic and other things over the years - but by and large has been fixed in most places.

Oh well, can't have everything...
