Heres the story

when 9.0.1 came out i decided to update. Installed everything like it said and it didnt work so decided to go back to 9.0.0. Well this is were all the problems have happened. 1st couldnt get PT to recognise my 003+ but now it will. 2nd when i load a session up and click the mouse anywhere i get access violation message

my PT has been down for about a week now and its driving me insane

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would that make a difference on a fresh install thanks

After a week, I would've reformatted and rebuilt. Uninstalls generally can't be trusted if thats what you did (with any software).

For the future, always make an image before upgrading your main rig. I use Acronis.

I think that's what I'm gonna have to do which is a right pain in the a#!e

Yeah I know mate, but you lost a week already on your previously working rig. Thats what I'd do.

Now reinstalling w7 and am gonna make an image of the drive after every bit of installation so if it goes belly up I haven't gotta go through this all again

What do you mean by "it didn't work" thus you decided to go back to 9.0.0. You mean PT 9.0.1 didn't launch after you used the 9.0.1 updater?

I installed the full installer for 9.0.1 and yes it would launch
