Core Audio driver
With my HD 96 IO, why can I only use 8 channels to record through the Core Audio driver.
Am I missing something, or is this just a deliberate crippling so I won't use anything else but ProTools with my interface ? |

Re: Core Audio driver
The crippling isn't deliberate - it's a limitation of TDM based systems with Core Audio.
To go beyond 8 channels is questionably possible - all we know is that it would take significant developer time to implement. |
