Default comping grouped tracks

I'm trying to comp some lead tracks that I recorded (sort of) stereo- i.e. one track is miked amp and another track is direct out of the amp. I have the ttwo tracks grouped- when I view playlists it only opens to the track I selected from. Will edits apply to both tracks?

If you right click the group and select modify. Make sure the edit group is selected. I'm away from my studio right now but I think that's the problem.

Yep, sounds like the tracks might be grouped only in Mix and not Edit, also. I think that if you are in the edit window and reveal the Groups list, you will be able to check it out-

Thanks for replies (I figured I'd get a "why don't try it and find out" - I was avoiding messing with them cuz it gets a little confusing with all those open playlists) I 'll go check this out in a while

Default Can't ungroup tracks (because i'm dumb)

I have about 7 vocal tracks that i created by "duplicate tracks" and only unchecked the first 2 boxes "active and alternate playlists". I grouped them w while ago, and now cant ungroup. So thats pretty messy...it means any edit applies to all tracks....which means, no edits....which means...delete all tracks and start again. Unless of course, someone can undumb me.
