Suggested MBP Config Anyone?
Hi, I'm in the market for a new MacBook Pro. I have the Mbox2 Pro running LE 7.1.2. There are two, a 2.16 GHz machine and a 2.33 GHz machine. Assume that I get 2GB of RAM in both. The price differential between the two is pretty significant. I'm trying to see if I can get away with the 2.16 and save some money. Does anyone have experience or comments on this? Thanks, SRJ |

Re: Suggested MBP Config Anyone?
I just got the 2.16 and there is no way that the price difference is worth it. The 2.33 is really not noticibly faster. The front side bus speed is the same. You can do a google search on the difference in speed for the two processors and find some actual test results. Either way, they are both faster than almost all g5s. I have not really tested mine yet and I only have 1GB of RAM right now but I think that I may sell my macpro quad 3.0 and just keep my laptop.
