Playback engine problems
hey guys. For some reason Pro Tools 9 is not recognizing a playback engine from my Macbook. This occurs when i have my Digi 002 plugged in and when i just try to use the internal playback from the computer itself.
I am quite confused as it was working perfectly 2 days ago when i first got the Digi and downloaded the drivers for it. I recorded a few test tracks with no problems at all. I have restarted my computer and reinstalled the drivers but to no avail. Should I try re-installing Pro Tools after re-installing the Digi 002 drivers? I am just not understanding why it doesn't want to work all of a sudden. Help Please!! thanks MKP |

Re: Playback engine problems
Is it not showing up in the little window in the playback engine dialog??. upper left corner you can select audio device. I am running 002 also and i have had that happen... after 2 restarts it showed up again...Havent had the problem again... There is a newer driver for the 002 & 003 family available in downloads...
