+1 on phrase find that looks awesome.

I have been told by avid that they are working on more video solutions for Pro Tools. We'll have to wait and see what that means.

I hope it means capture to the timeline using the Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3(D).

I hope it means official support for shared storage (EditShare) as a read/write volume, not just a transfer volume.

I hope it means a SuperAccel card, which would be at least the power of an HD|2 Accel system on a single card. This way I can add the 10GigE card (for EditShare) to our systems without having to buy an expansion chassis.

I hope it means other things to numerous to list here. All we can do is hope.

WHOA, how awesome would this be!

I can't imagine all the uses!, Especially for VO/narr on a Doc where one might need another word to steal and not have to go through a 2 hour documentary.

PhraseFind: What other languages are supported? Whenever I click on the "Avid store" link to see it gives me "0 Search Results for "0010-30656-02". I can't even find PhraseFind itself in the Store.

We have only been asking for this one for about 15 years. So don't hold your breath

Exactly. Do the two sides of Avid not know that the other exists? Do they ever communicate?

Avid goes with AJA, ProTools goes with Black Magic. Really?

Bump? No one knows?

This would be a huge time saver in some instances, but I mainly work on French TV doc series. And sometimes it isn't even "standard" French, so I'm curious how it would handle that.
