Question 9.0.3 anytime soon?

Any rumblings of when there might be a 9.0.3 to resolve any of the issues (bugs) w/ 9.0.2?

One issue I have is on the Macbook Pro when the Core Audio Manager crashes in a sleep mode using digi 003 rack+. It doesn't like the laptop to sleep. If it doesn't crash, it stops delivering sound out through the device. A reboot is needed.

not really a bug when the directions tell you to disable Sleep Mode and have for 10+ years

1.) LLM doesn't work when aux's are in the session
2.) Grid Lines in slip mode
3.) Enormous POP when bouncing an MP3/WAV and there is fade automation drawn on the master fader.

That's not really a bug because AVID states you have to disable sleep mode.

I hope digi doesn't forget about that grid line thing in slip mode?, hey paul_g, dig your setup, I have the same setup as you (LOL), on side question on the FS if I may. seems like you have to really crank up the pres to get good levels on the FS, almost where it says -10db?, I thought it operated at +4?, yes I'm stilling learning (LOL)

4) Unbelievably slow audio import, via drag & drop (apparently caused by the 'Home' and 'Net' folders in the workspace)

I hope they remember the promise to make H/W buffer size 2048 again to save going back into PT8 for using Drum Rehab.

Hey basslik,

Depends on the mic and the source (what you're recording). Don't be afraid to crank the gain... but if you're not getting the gain you need, you may have to use another pre-amp. I've had great success with the DigiMax, but I do notice on my ribbon mic's that if the source is really quiet (a soft finger picked guitar) I will use my PreSonus Tube Pre's... then I get the gain I'm looking for. Usually for Vocals I always go to the TubePre's and juice them w/ a bit of 'drive'.

With that said, don't be afraid to crank them...

It's like having a tool box, you need different tools for different things... There isn't a catchall "Leatherman" for this stuff.
