Default AES Mutes

Hi Sheldon,
When I change system settings and the software reboots it mutes the outputs on the stage rack, correct???
Does it also mute the AES outs on the FOH rack? At the moment we have to mute the rig to stop getting a painful crack through the system.

Default Re: AES Mutes

Hi James,

Yes, all outputs (analog and digital) are muted on the stage racks. There may be a slight pop on analog outputs when the hardware relay kicks in.

The FOH AES outputs are muted when the system settings change. The FOH analog outputs are NOT relay-protected and therefore can produce a pop.

Which outputs (stage/FOH, analog/digital) are you hearing the popping on?

Sheldon
