Mac Studio /M2 - Avid plugin missing

Hi,

I installed Avid & Air plugins on my new Mac Studio with M2, everything is there and works except Black Op Distortion (12.4). This one is just missing.

Is there any compatibility issue?

The aax, vst, vst3 and component files are where they are supposed to be but the plugin is still missing in Pro Tools.

12.4? Huh?

The current version of Black Op Distortion is 22.12.0d7 contained in the "Eleven Effects 2022.12 Mac (DMG) 44.09 MB installer".

The first place to start when you have plugins not showing up in Pro Tools on Apple Silicon systems is to check all your plugins are Universal by running a plugin report using Pete Gate's free PT Prefs 2 program. This stuff has been covered in many many posts on DUC.

If plugins are Universal and not showing up in Pro Tools then trashing prefs, specifically the plugin cache file, makes senses. You should also look and see if the plugin appears in the scan in the Pro Tools startup/plash screen.
