Default Digi 192 Problems... Tried everything I could think of.

I'm using Native HD and a Digi 192 that's having internal clocking issues. I bought a extra A/D card and installed it and it worked fine. I moved my 192 to a new destination and the first thing that i noticed was that the green INT light was just barely flickering and the session wouldn't sync up. I let it sit for a day and tried it again with the same results. I also noticed on Digi test that it no longer saw the 2nd A/D card.

I did some research and couldn't find anything on that ( on the Native side). Then I tried it again and everything seemed to work just fine (card still not showing). After about 15-20 minutes into a mixing session that INT light stopped and started blinking and the sync was lost again. I have no idea what is going on and before I called Avid I figured I'd see if anyone had any idea of what may be going on to see if it's fixable before I have to send it in. Thanks for your help in advance!

Did you try to reinstall the card? Maybe it's just a loose connection.

Opened up the 192. I switch the ribbons to the A/D card and Digital card. Made sure all connections in the (I'm going to call it the master section with the resistors and such) master section were all connected and not loose. Then I pulled out and reinstalled the Native card and the INT light is still flickering on the SYNC MODE section and still not seeing the A/D card. Thanks for the guess Micks!

I also unplugged the "unfindable" A/D card to see if that may be the problem (maybe shorting it out) but still get a flickering INT light.

sounds like ether an intermittent connection (check the other end of the ribbon cables)
or in the move the unit took a hit and losend a solder joint in the main section

I check all that stuff and still no go. I traded the A/D card out with and extra D/A card I had and it reads all the slots (#1 A/D, #2 D/A, #3 Digital, #4 D/A). I then tried PT again and it worked for a few different sessions I opened. Then I restarted the computer and the same problem again. The link is video of the start up sequence and then how it was running during the opening of a session. When the session opened up completely I just got an error saying "PT couldn't Sync".

Or does anyone know which part I would need to change out to fix the internal clock and where it is in the 192? Thanks.

Not sure where you're located, but Mitch Berger, over at http://www.studio-techservices.com is incredible with Avid hardware. Saved my ass on a few sessions when my 192's went a little crazy.
Do it!
