Default Is Mac Drive part of PT 11.3.2?

Hi everyone,

I used to have the Mac Drive utility that came with PT on my computer to read and write to Mac formatted drives. I used to have 10 and 11 co-installed but I just recently built a new computer and only put 11.3.2 on and now when I plug in a Mac formatted drive, my computer can't read it other than loading the driver.

So is PT 11.3.2 missing the mac drive utility? Did they remove it from version 11? I don't want to re-install 10 since I have everything working perfectly and have no other use for it.

Thanks,
David

It went away before 10. Paragon has been fine here.

I will have to check out Paragon. Been running Mediafour MacDrive 9 here and it works fine, but only is a single-machine license

The mediafour people always gave me authorizations for multiple system drives. I got Paragon because it was cheaper than a MacDrive upgrade to support the latest mac drives and has as good a reputation.

Well that may explain some things I've been experiencing lately.

When I look at my Task Manager, I see MacDrive running.

Is this a remnant of earlier versions of Pro Tools?

If it is running, should I expect it to still work?

It may not work with all Apple Mac format drives without being updated.
