Peavey StudioMix with PT 8 MP?

I have a Peavey StudioMix MIDI Mixer (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may9...les/peavey.htm) that was designed to work with - and works very well - with Sonar. Has anybody tried to get one of those to work with ProTools and in my specific case, I run ProTools 8.0.5 M-Powered. I'm using an M-Audio Mobile-Pre interface and am using the StudioMix strictly for mixing. It does a great job in Sonar X3 even though it's an older unit. Having the sliders for mixing, knobs for panning, etc. are really nice. I am just a home-based recording guy so don't need a ton of functionality and know my way around this unit. I prefer to work in ProTools rather than Sonar but do work with other people who only work in Sonar so I need to be able to work in both systems and would like to use just this unit to do so if possible.

I looked around, but couldn't find the info.. Do you know if the StudioMix uses HUI? If so, it should work in Pro Tools.
