Pro Tools 9 Ilok2 Authorization Error Help!

I just crossgraded Pro Tools 7 to 9 on Windows 7 64 bit Home P. I cannot open my Pro Tools after purchasing the license and downloading the drivers for the Ilok. I re-installed the drivers for the Ilok and switched my usb ports but I keep getting the same error msg. After re-installing my Pro Tools I got it to open but when I shut down...I get that same msg again. I don't know what to do. Please if anyone knows about this I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Is the iLok plugged in to the USB port at all times?

You did remember to sync the iLok to ilok.com and place the licence on the ilok right? Not just download the drivers.

Yes. When the ilok2 is connected to the internet explore 9 I can view my pro tools 9 license but pro tools isn't reading it.

IIRC there were some issues with the iLok2. Do a forum search.

IIRC? Ok. After I re-installed my Pro Tools again from 7 to 9.0.2...I get the authorization error msg. Then I re-installed my ilok drivers using Mozzila Firefox 6. I installed the drivers and updated to Pro Tools 9.0.5 and did something with the Power Managment (use default settings). I took out my wireless usb card to not have internet on and I got Pro Tools to open. The Pro Tools opened without any installed plugins. I rebooted many times and I was able to open Pro Tools. I shut down many times and I was able to open Pro Tools. I created a system restore just in case. I still have to install my plugins...I keep my fingers crossed. I don't know if it has anything to with my plugins or power management????
