Default edit cursor view -simple UI question

How do I get the edit cursor (where the timeline is)
to show a "solid" cursor bar on all tracks all the time ?
in stopped mode /page scrolling view

It shows the blinking edit cursor on a selected track,
but i want to see all of my tracks at the same time when trimming.

imagine 12 drum tracks and i want to seperate regions in the same spot
on all but have only one track showing cursor..

i have read half the help file looking for a way to keep the cursor in view in stop mode IE: in a line down the screen.

In PAGE scrolling mode - "center cursor" is not for my taste -does not aply here

thanks
