Every release of 12 has had and will have fixes in it. I will try to get a high level list of the key things that are being addressed in 12.5 for you.

I hope 12.5 fixes.the access violations I am getting in Windows 7.

12 has been the most unstable version I have used!!! I had to revert to 11.3.2. Since then ZERO crashes. That tells me my system is just fine and it's 12.4 that's the problem.

I'd like to be able to actually use the software I paid 599.00 for!! So far it's too crash happy to even use.

12.4 goes to hell as soon as you start editing.

Have you set PT so that you run as administrator? I don't get access errors since I did that. Create a desktop icon, right click to edit Properties, then under the Compatibility tab check the box by "Run as Administrator" (or something similar). Save it. Always run using the shortcut. Then each time you launch PT you will get a dialog asking if you want to allow the program access (again, paraphrasing). Click Yes.

I caught some of the webinar - and they seemed to say during the Q&A that 12.5 would be available BEFORE the cut-off point for this month's upgrades. Did I imagine this?
