Thumbs down Happy Belated Birthday, Eucon 2.6.2!!!

That's right, ladies and gentlemen... everybody's favorite piece of bloatware celebrated a FULL YEAR without so much as a .0.1 rev. 2.6.2 was posted on October 20, 2011, a full 376 days ago, without so much as a bug fix in the interim.

It's a good thing Avid has been hiring lately or else I'd feel abandoned!

Just installed EuCon yesterday, 2.6.2... Used with Artist Mix and Artist Transport..On a Mac with Pro Tools 10.3.1. It's been stable as a rock for the last 4 weeks since I've been running it...

Then I bought the Mix stuff and installed EuCon 2.6.2...
I figured out how in the 1st 5 minutes to crash Pro Tools by just pushing 2 buttons on the Transport at the same time... I even got my first kernel panic and BSOD since I've owned my Mac (early 2009) and I use it every day for 8-10 hrs a day.

I'm pretty happy with the surfaces...so far EuCon is just sad...

Not having an update in over a year isn't so bad...providing what you are using is stable.

Congrats Avid... congrats.

Funny that I just replaced my Yamaha 01x with this for a control surface because Yamaha dropped support for it and all of mLan.

I'd thought that since Avid had JUST picked up Euphonix and even rebranded and remodeled the hardware that it was safe to assume that it would be supported for a LONG time to come. Or at least supported.

Stupid me.
