sound from Max/MSP in Pro Tools

Hello All,

A quick question:

What is the best way to pipe the sound from Max/MSP to Pro Tools running on the same machine?

This is not a question about building Pluggo plug-ins, just an inquiry about how to run Max/MSP and Pro Tools in the same time and have the audio travel from Max to PT.
In OS 9 I used to use DirectConnect, which worked great, except my machine couldn't handle both applications running in the same time all that well. But now, in OS X DirectConnect is no longer, as far as I understand...

How exctly does one reWire max to ProTools?...

Would you, or anyone, be so kind an post step by step suggestions?
