Default Re: Copy/paste plugin settings?

My preference between sends and pans would be the other way round, but I hope they all can be implemented, of course.:)

Hi Jeff,
Is there any progress with this feature Copy / Paste Plugin Parameters?
I've just started on a new s6 stage at warner brothers and am shocked to find this hasn't been implemented yet.
Thank you,
David.

What is the USER button for on the Process Module? Why not make this a copy/paste button.

I'll defer to Eddie on this implementation. I believe there was a plan at some point for a real user customized strip using the USER button. I concur though that Copy Paste settings is indeed important and should even be expanding beyond the functionality on D-Control & D-Command.

best,

Jeff

Default Re: Copy/paste plugin settings? (have any of you guys written a softkey for this?)

it would be great if it was possible to have the "targeted" window be the copy source, and then remainder of the range of selected tracks respond to a "Do To Selected" command, for the parameters in that targeted insert (or send slot, but sends at least respond to "Do To Selected/All"). Boom, one softkey.

Ideally, if I had an Insert window open, with it's target square is enabled, a softkey would instigate a copy of that setting and apply it across All/Selected tracks on the same Insert slot (regardless of the plugin on that insert, which sounds like a crash waiting to be built into a softkey if you're not careful with your selections...)

It certainly is easy to do the command-shift-C/V but it can be a lot of mouse clicks, have any of you hardcore softkey people written a softkey for this to Do-To-All/Selected? I keep running into roadblocks such as targeting the same plugin on the next track as well as determining a track stopping point. Is it a third-party issue with Inserts? It doesn't seem like it when you compare it to the functionality of the Icons.

Of course as a workaround you can have custom groups for each insert with the proper allocations but that is a lot of mouse clicking and if you don't attend to each of those groups .

So easy and satisfying on an Icon, loved those switches and faders, and so useful

Thanks
