Default d24+mixcore?

Hi guys,
This might be a strange question, but here it goes:
I have a d24+3 farms, and somebody is selling a mixcore card very cheaply. Can I use the mixcore with my d24 card, or can I swap the d24 with the mixcore card and use it with my 'vintage' dsp farms?
Will the mixcore card give me similar processing power as a regular mix farm card?

Cheers,

Joe

You can certainly use the vintage farms with the mix core. They will work fine. I also think I remember seeing info on using a D24 core with a mix core as well. But you only gain one extra chip this way. Plus you lose one PCI slot. Not really worth it if you don't have the extra slots. If you are using an expansion chassis it will have a card order list in the guide that came with it.
