Well....

Since they have been saying all along we'd have AAX DSP this summer...

and now mid summer get just a beta version of only a few...

kind of puts in perspective where we are at.

Also since I own the Emerald collection and most of these are not
part of it I'm really looking at 3 plugins which are not ones I normally even use..

Guess I was just hoping for more!

Yes a big thank you for aax dsp plug ins. Now I'd love to see some great post plug ins ported to DSP!

McDSP is simply awesome great plugs and yes they have been working hard,I can't figure out way some seem so negative on the progress of AAX, it's a hell of a lot of work writing new code, and keeping up with apple OS tweaks as well,I feel things are moving forward quite well.

I didn't mean to be Negative to McDSP.....I am more frustrated that Avid led a lot of us to believe development was going to be a lot quicker and that it was going to be much easier for the developers.

Its too bad the 3rd party guys have to work so hard to make this all happen.

In the mean time us early HDX adopters went from hundreds of TDM plugins to a small handful of AAX DSP.

Well just to jump in quickly: I've installed McDSP beta yesterday and have just quickly inserted some of the AAX-DSP PI's on some test tracks (I've both the emerald and the retro pack) to see the efficiency and I must say I'm quite impressed. Good job McDSP and I hope to see more AAX PI beta releases from them soon.
