Komplete Kontrol with an S3 in Pro Tools 2021.10

I am currently struggling with the S3 and Komplete Kontrol fighting with each other. It seems that there is no way to have the S3 function independently of the way that Komplete Kontrol wants to display the tracks.

The S3 would allow me to select tracks in Pro Tools that are not one of the 16 on the surface and the surface would not shift and change.

Komplete Kontrol seems to always want the tracks you select in Pro Tools to be part of the 8 tracks that show up in the mixer section and then forces that view to be the first 8 channels of the S3.

This is causing quite a few issues between the two. Because their behaviors are different, I would love to have them both working independent of each other. Is there any way to do that?

Does no one else have both a Komplete Kontrol and a Eucon device running at the same time?

I will fill out the form as well. But I just had enough time to create a somewhat in depth video of this issue. I will fill out the case later.

S3 and Komplete Kontrol Pro Tools 2021.12

I'm not sure where this got fixed. But I tried setting up my Komplete Kontrol today again with the S3 and I'm not having any of these issues.

Thank you to the Avid team for fixing this! I never thought this would get fixed.

I also appreciate the new options in preferences with 2022.9 that allow me to tell the edit and mix window not to follow selections from the controller.
