So with Dock and new app - presumably when you press bank button on dock the app banks like it currently does. So presumably the meters mode banks too?

So anyone know for sure if the iPad clips can be detached from the S1? I have an iPad Pro but I also use the Softube Console 1 above an Artist Mix and leave the iPad to the side...

Any news on the compatibility with Cubase/Nuendo?
Current Eucon version kinda works, but missing a lot of functionality...
The videos so far claim to have support, but I wonder is it’s going to be the same as before, or are there any improvements.

Yes it is compatible as its EUCON. We are aware of a couple of new things that aren't implemented yet but please list all as we are in contact with Steinberg and can hopefully get them fixed.

As far as I could find the things that aren't compatible with the Artist Mix right now are:
- Solo buttons won't solo the track (or light up when soloing in Cubase)
- Mute buttons won't work on VCA tracks (and won't show as muted when muting in Cubase).

Couldn't really find anything else,, but honestly I wasn't looking too deep into every feature, but I hope this helps.

To make the most of the S1 seems to be you need a tablet, and it should be the same dimensions as the S1 itself if things are going to line up. AFAIK, that means a 12.9 inch iPad Pro - which is another £1k. Since I'd want it to live with the S1 as if it were a permanent screen, this seems wildly overkill - all I'd need it to do is run the EuCon software, that's it.

I suppose the two options are a 2nd hand 1st gen 12.9 iPad Pro, or since the OS will now be supported, an Android.
There are only a couple of Android tablets that are rougly right, this one is 13.3 inches - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Hannspree...mputers&sr=1-1 . It's not the same aspect ratio, would the app scale elegantly?

Yes the new App is designed to scale properly and should look great on that screen size but be aware that tablet is 2 cm wider than the S1 so if you want multiplies or a Dock next to it it wont fit. The 10.1/10.5 widescreen Samsung's etc. (Even the Amazon Fire HD 10) look pretty good and although they don't line up track for track its not that big of an issue...(S6's screens doesn't line up either and isn't an issue I ever hear about)
