Default 6.7 with unsupported G4

I am getting ready to move our PT 6.7 with Mbox from my machine to a co-workers machine so they can take over most of the audio duties at our company. I checked the compatibility docs for the new machine and find it is one of the non-supported machines.

G4/400 AGP
1GB RAM
External FW400 drive for audio work
OS 10.3.8

Does anyone have any experience running 6.7 on this slow of a machine? I sometimes have issues running PT on my dual 1.8 G5 so I thought I'd double-check before transferring and training the new person.

If the machine is going to crawl or cause problems, I need to start building the case for a newer machine to be bought. Thanks.

What have these poor men done to be tortured like this?

PT6.x with OS X on a 400Mhz CPU? Well as long as they don´t hit the PLAY button

I don´t KNOW if it will run but changes that it will are very high.
"unsupported" translates to "don´t come running to us, when it´s stuck".
When something does NOT run on a config DIGI usually says so.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that "non-supported" means no tech support if I encounter problems.

My biggest question is to speed and stability if anyone runs a similar setup.

The actions for being tortured like this is that the poor recipient of these new duties is the newest employee and she'll get to deal with our whiniest client. Plus I travel way to much to always try to meet audio deadlines around here and carrying my Powerbook, my Mbox, my DAT, my external LaCie drive and all the requisite cords, is just no longer the fun it used to be...
