pro tools se crackiling in playback

hi my name is chuck and i have windows vista, pro tools se , m audio mobile pre interface.... i get clicking and popping on playback of recordings . im trying to produce a sandra report but when i click hardware i get an empty window with no info.. im really bad with tech stuff so any tips would be helpful....

Clicking and popping usually has to do with two things your clock source and or your playback engine's settings

On regular ProTools there's a button or box you can click on the change playback engine settings - minimize additional I/O may cause clicks and pops deselect that
