Re: Pro tools yosemite OS X
I am also talking about PT11, since you were -- I merely added that I tried both. As I said there are countless reports of issues with Yosemite. I'm curious to know where it's being reported that it generally runs very well w/ PT11 because I've been monitoring the net and it doesn't read that way to me. And, personally, I'm 0 for 2 w/ Yosemite, even though I'd initially created the first post here about Yosemite and its successes - those successes didn't last.

Re: Pro tools yosemite OS X
Adding to that, this in no way means that PT10 doesn't work with Mavericks, it merely suggests that Avid will not offer its official blessing and that's because they don't want to support older configurations (it's funny to call Mavericks "older"). I'm using Mavericks, as are a bevy of other users, and I, as well as they, find it as stable as Mountain Lion, if not even more so. Given the choice I'd run with Mavericks. Yosemite doesn't allow us to be productive with any version of ProTools.
