Default ILOK ZERO DOWNTIME RANT

sorry, i know this is meaningless, but - i emailed ilok support about NOT wanting to renew zero downtime, AND i clicked the link in the email that was sent about auto-renew and clicked DO NOT RENEW. on the very same day that i am trying to close a checking account that is deemed out of service, an auto deduction comes thru my account for $30 from (guess who??) and it causes an over draft. now they wont respond about crediting my account, and it might take up to 90 days to dispute. that's just great. that company is run by robots that will soon rise up and destroy us. i would expect this type of service from a gambling site or someone just out to make a buck, but not from ILOK. why is the one company that is literally the key to allow me to work every day and make an income so out of whack???

sorry, i just had to get it out

Ah yes, the bureaucratic maze of a monopoly. Just wait until we have national heath care Ken!

Sorry for your trouble, but why on earth would you give iLok auto-deduction access to your checking account?

Um, the health care system in this country already IS a monopoly.

1yr. basic coverage Health Care for 1 person, doesn't include prescription coverage or out-of-network office/hospital visits: $4500

1yr. full coverage for ilok: $30

Which one is the better deal?

FWIW I don't have the budget for either, but you get more for your money with the iLok.

Excellent comparison Slim. And they don't tell you this in the FAQ's, but if you shove your iLok in your ear it'll cure the flu. Takes the concept of "Zero Downtime" to a whole new level!
