Default Laptop/Pro Tools TDM

Is it possible to run Pro Tools TDM on a laptop? I know that you can load the software, but can you install a Core card in a laptop?

I was reading a magazine recently that stated that a certain producer had a "full blown" Pro Tools set up, but in the photo, they showed it running on a laptop. I thought that it had to be a Le, or M system.
