How to find out what codec i'm missing?
Just went from 10.6 and pt 8 to yosemite and pt 11, everything seems fine but I apparently have a missing codec and can't play any video.
I'm very bad with codecs, how is the easiest way to find out what im missing? Is there a way to see all the codecs i have installed? |

Re: How to find out what codec i'm missing?
There is a codec installer in the PT installer in the folders below the drag to applications folder area. But I have been using QuickTime X to convert movies that don't seem to work with PT. Open the movie in QT then select "Export To" then select 720 or 480 movie. This will creat a copy in the same directory and make the file type a .mov and should work in PT. I use 720 and it really doesn't change the resolution.
