Waves just posted their Black Friday sale: Black Friday Starts Today

Diamond for $299 is the screaming deal this year it seems. Gold is $199 and Platinum is $699 Diamond is under $225 at AudioDeluxe.

I've already got Diamond. So unless they have a screaming no brainer cross grade to Horizon, I'm probably going to pass on Waves this year. I might upgrade our building's copy of Gold to Diamond though.

I'm sure actual Black Friday and Cyber Monday will bring some more interesting discounts. Also, I wonder which plugin they are going to give away fro free this year?

Yeah, that Waves Black Friday Sale is so B$, they have been selling plugins at $29 all year long, and the updates/upgrades/bundles also have been on sale many times this year, at same or even better prices than now.

Let's hope for real deals by other brands

Would like to see Pianoteq offer discounts on their instrument add ons, and Toontrack discount SD3. Not holding my breath for either though.

I'll be on the lookout for $1 libraries at audiodeluxe and pluginboutique.

Just got the monthly deal email from Plugin Alliance and for each weekend they have different what they're calling 'Black Friday' sales. This weekend is the Black Box HG-2 at $99, Brainworx bx_dynEQ for $49 (it' was at $89 last month), Dangerous Music BAX EQ at $69 and the Brainworx bx_XL V2 at $79.

Next weekend's star of the show is Millenia NSEQ-2 at $69

Third weekend for me the start would be the Millenia TCL-2 at %$69 (already have it)

Week 4 is their 'mystery plugins' sale with a possible goodie of a $299 plug for $99. I'm guessing something like the Elysia Mastering Compressor.

Regarding your quest for a de-esser, you can't much cheaper than free, and the TDR Nova is also an excellent dynamic EQ. No need to wait until Black Friday. If you like it, buy the GE version, but the free version is very powerful in its own right.
