Havent been on this board ina minute, been back every once and a while to read but that is it. I got a job at one of the busiest studios in philly, and been working on my own thing steady for awhile. I am just a bit curious on were the 001 has taken others.. It gave me experience to support myslef in the industry, how about you?

My questions are :
1) where are you working
2) what type of hours
3) whats the pay like ( if you dont mind)
4) whats the music like
5) whos the most reputable people you have recorded.
6) What do you do in specific?
7) do you thuroughly enjoy it?

I am just curious so if you dont want to answer something ..dont

1) North Philly
2)usually nights, some weekends and about 25 to 35 hours a week.
3) I get about 17 an hour for a 50 an hour studio
4) Jazz hip hop rock punk metal dance anything and everything
5) that would have to be Musiq Soulchild
6) I just do tracking right now, I dont do much mixing besides reference mixes and the such. the cats that mix at my studio are way to good and have to much experience. they have been mixing for like 15 years and had grammies(plural), and worked with roots and a bunch of other cats
7) 4 out of 5 times

I am just trying to see what things are like outside my walls. I like my job, but am curious on what others are doing. if you got a second let me and other know.

5)Emilio Estefan, Nas, Bravehearts, Thalia, Tommy Mottola, Shakira and whole bunch more that I cant remember.
6)Assitant Engineer and Engineer(Mostly Tracking and Editing Sessions)In addition, with Midi Programming
