Mbox 2 Pro with GarageBand
I'm getting mentally prepared to try an Mbox 2 Pro with GarageBand (not Pro Tools) on a Macbook Pro [OS X 10.6.8]. It is my understanding that I first need to install the Mbox 2 Pro driver for Pro Tools 9.0 (Mac), even though I will not be using Pro Tools. Is this correct? And does anyone have any other tips for getting started?
Thank you. |

Re: Mbox 2 Pro with GarageBand
Yes, correct. That is the basic driver that let's you use the unit with any software.

Re: Mbox 2 Pro with GarageBand
It works! Thanks nst7. The only other thing I needed to acquire was a firewire cable with a 400 plug on one end and an 800 on the other.
