? Using MediaComposer with ProTools ?
Hi, I have started a forum involving 'Best way to work with video in PT';
Many people said that Media Composer is the most effective way to work in a professional level. Can any one help me out with understanding how it works with PT? At work the Video editing suites use Avid / connecting to a unity. The editors hate exporting a video file for the PT dub suite. Thank you all, these forums rock Gafyn Lloyd |

Re: ? Using MediaComposer with ProTools ?
you put a full MC rig on the dub stage and wire everything up
http://www.avid.com/US/products/Video-Satellite but make him keep making QTs to keep him in practice (eventually he'll be perfect)

Re: ? Using MediaComposer with ProTools ?
That's awesome - can't understand how I didn't find that page.
I think the big quible (if there is such a word) is that you have to purchase MC seperate to PT HD (which allready cost £15k ish) instead of having it built in to the HD systems. Instead my work place would rather spend money on a Doremi nugget and have the editors export a video. Thank you Craig
