OS X 10.11 El Capitan Qualification

Avid is in the process of qualifying this new OS, but it is not recommended at this time.

Please use the "Subscribe to This Forum" option (in the Forum Tools menu) for further notifications, or subscribe to the KB article.

Users that have upgraded should roll back to their previous OS (Time Machine or other backup) or set up a dual boot to run the appropriate OS for their needs.

We continue to make progress with qualification of Avid software on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan so you will start to see that reflected in more of the compatibility documents in our knowledge base.

Note that some older interfaces (like the Mbox 2 family) and previous software versions will not be qualified with newer operating systems.
