Digi... iLok (OS9 vs. OSX)

As part of the PT6/OSX upgrade process, I created an account and registered my iLok at iLok.com.

Now, let's say I proceed with the automatic "OS9-to-OSX" authorization conversion process... what happens to the OS9 licenses? Will I...

a) ...retain valid and functioning ilok authorizations/licenses for both OS9 & OSX;

b) ...lose OS9 authorizations in favor of OSX;

c) ...be forced to watch "Star Search" reruns for having missed the relevant paragraph somewhere in my OSX Upgrade documentation?

The answer is a).
The same ilok authorization works on Mac OS 9, OS X, and Windows systems, provided the plug-ins and iLok drivers are up-to-date. You can update older versions of plug-ins to the iLok version from the downloads section in support:

I don't know about c), but I suspect eventually there will be nothing on TV besides "reality" shows and spinoffs of Law and Order, like the upcoming Law and Order - Parking Violations. [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]
