Default INtel i5 question

So, I recently had to replace my motherboard. I know there are some power saving features that need to be changed in the bIOS but I can no longer find the thread regarding them. Can anyone point me in the rigth direction to that? Thank you!

No one has a clue without knowing what mobo you have Try reading the manual that came with the mobo, as every BIOS is different.

Gigabyte p55 ud3. However, there is a specific thread about this from about 6 months ago (which I can't seem to find) and if I recall correctly, it was a lot of socket 1156 mobos that had these functions. At any rate, I'm pretty sure the mobo manual won't tell me how to configure for pro tools.

Most of the i7 advice is here, but that is primarily for LGA 1366.
