HD OMNI input settings i/o

I have a brand new HD Native with Omni setup. This is what i am experiencing.

If a mic is in mic 1, in pro tools a signal is received on both analog 1 AND 2?? and when a mic is in mic 2 there is no signal in either 1 or 2.

Omni Settings: both 1 and 2 are set to Mic not line or instrument. both preamps are set to +10, both have 48v sent because the mics require it.

Pro Tools Settings: Setup >> Hardware Setup >> Main >> under 1-2 it is set to analog 1-2, 3-4 is set to analog 3-4

What am i doing wrong?? please help!

First try a factory reset on the Omni, but if that doesn't work it'll have to be sent in for repair.

Depending on your reseller you might be able to exchange it for a properly working unit since its brand new. It's a hardware issue, you're not doing anything wrong.
