Does an eGPU help a large session?
My setup:
Computer: Mac mini 2018 i7 6-core. Displays: TV LG 4k (video playback) UltraWide 32 inch (main) HD 1080p (secondary) I noticed that the CPU is pushed to the limit now. Occasionally the systems stops because of the CPU overload. Video is played on a third display. Before I used a BlackMagic Ultrastudio mini monitor as the video hardware output. It felt that it helped the CPU load. Now with the third display it's on the edge. Does an eGPU helps to lower the CPU load? The internal Intel video chip (activity monitor) doesn't work as hard as I would expect. Hence the question about the eGPU. Thanks in advance.

Re: Does an eGPU help a large session?
I doubt it will make much difference to CPU use. All that screen real estate is causing the CPU to do a lot more processing.
