Please Note: Pro Tools 8.0.3 software (and higher) does not support some retired products:
![]() I did know that the MBox was being scraped, but to see it side-by-side with the Win 7 support announcement that I had been waiting for so long, make me sick. ![]() Oh well, I still have my music! ![]()

I think they're basically saying they're trying to get the updates out as quick as possible and there could/will be some minor bugs/tweaks needed and since there are more users on LE/HD, do not consider this done, simply a trial/error. They want to keep us happy, but at the same time don't want us to lash out if the doodoo hits the fan at any point. I guess it's cool, just gimme them updates, but the main cause of the delay is all the testing, and when they finally have something, they still want it to be considered beta...ah whatever, give us the goods! haha

So since protools will currently install mbox drivers on windows 7, you guys think its possible that maybe upgrading to 8.0.3 wont affect the drivers that work?

Question about 64 bit drivers. I'm running M-Powered with several FW interfaces. Normally ProjectMix I/O but the firewire port just fried out on me so I'm sending it back to get fixed, so for the meantime I'm running everything off my little FW410 workhorse (love that thing!) I am running 8.0 on 7-32 but as my good friend and new bestest buddy Bernoni knows, I have been having issues this week with memory so I'm about to create a dual boot with 64 to see if it'll run better. Do I need to worry about the 64bit drivers for M-Audio stuff? Maybe I'll just check their site - yeah that's the ticket. Sorry, I answered my own question, but it's been a long week and a long day. Much love to the King "B"
