wont boot into os 9
hello. about an hour ago my computer decided it wasnt going to boot into os 9. the os 9 disk shows up on the startup disk control panel in x. when i select it and choose to restart, it restarts into x. when i hold option at startup it only shows x. each os has its own partition. the os 9 hard disk is there and looks fine. i moved the computer around and took it on a car ride to another house in between when it worked and when it stopped working. the last os i was using as well as the startup disk was os 9. despite this after the ride it booted into x. thats my only suspect and i dont know why that would cause this. anyone have any ideas? thank you.

Re: wont boot into os 9
Your OS9 systme folder may be corrupted. If you ahve a recent back-up, simply replace it with the back-up. Otherwise you will need to reinstall OS9.
Before you do this, start-up from your OS9 disk and run disk first aid. Hope this is helpful. |
