HDX card in PCIe slot 4
Hi there - becoming a bit of a regular on here.
I have a HDX 1 and UAD-2 Duo cards I need to install in my Mid-2010 Mac Pro. I keep hearing that the UAD-2 card runs best in PCIe slot 2 so was going to do that and install the HDX card in PCIe slot 4 to give it some room. However the HDX installation manual says I need to install the card in slot 2... Will it cause a problem if I don't? Does anyone have a similar setup and running HDX1 in slot 4? Any problem occurred? Thanks ever so much. -------------------------------------------------- 8-Core "Westmere" Mac Pro Mid-2010, OSX Lion, 14GB RAM, HDX 1, Omni interface, PT10, UAD-2 Duo, Neve 1073 DPD, Empirical Labs Distressor |

Re: HDX card in PCIe slot 4
UAD-2 cards are working good in any slot. So rearrange them instead.
