Default Sound but no meter reading!!

I'm hoping someone can help me.
I have my Kemper set up for recording guitar.
It has been set up for ages and nothing has changed. However, all of a sudden, I can not record as it is not registering on the channel meters yet I can hear it through the monitors.

Setup:
Kemper L&R out into channel 1&2 on 003 Console.
Two mono tracks with analog 1&2 respectively.

Puzzled!!!

All input welcome (pardon the pun! )

Hi friend !

I had the 003 once , I remember that the unit has some aux and ctrl buttons for alternate monitoring . Check those buttons that are placed around the volumen knobs if my memory don't fail . Maybe on of them was enabled by accident .

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I checked those buttons but nothing is pressed that shouldn't be.

It is not an issue with hearing the guitar; I can hear it through the monitors when the track is record enabled and I am playing.
The problem is, I can not record as it is not registering on the channel meters.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

I have heard of meter readings with no sound but not the other way around!

I am hoping it is just a simple button press but I can not find anything about it online or in the manual.

All help greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Why not try trashing your preferences and then relaunching Pro Tools?
