Hi,

If the only thing that changes between systems is the FOH Rack then that's the place to focus. This assumes the FOH Link cable is the same, and the D-SHow Main unit is the same.

Start by checking all cables inside the FOH Rack, including those connecting the local IO cards to the DSP engine cards. Reseat these connections, and see if that helps. If not, the problem may be on the umbilical card that contains the big multi pin FOH Link connector.

Check the FOH Link connector and cable, to ensure there are no bent/missing pins or contacts. If that checks out ok, there may be a connection loose on the umbilical card itself. This is a more involved procedure, so you should contact either your local VENUE service/support center for assistance, or the Avid support team: venuesupport(at)avid(dot)com.

Hey guys,
I have a bad Umbilical cable. The folks who are repairing it need help in taking it apart. It is Avid Part No. 9940-31606-00.
Thanks for any help.

Not sure if it is a serviceable cable, of course anything could be repaired in theory but I don't think this one is officially reparable. You can always discuss this with Live Sound support
