Excellent news!

We'll investigate what's happening with the default server and Hotmail...

we can confirm the issue with hotmail.com, but we had no problems until just recently. according to the recipient, it is not going to the junk folder. the same recipient did successfully receive notifications at the end of March 2007.

i sent a few test messages from the same address space as our DigiDelivery box, and some were received, but not all. as has been suggested, relaying the notifications to a "trusted" mail host might help.

Interesting - we had a few 'lost' emails with Hotmail recently, too, and not ones from the DigiDelivery server. We had thought it was just a fluke, but hearing it from you I wonder if there's something else going on with Hotmail...

i just setup a new Hotmail account, sent a test delivery, and sure enough ... the message is simply deleted, that is, not junked, bounced, or rejected. i also sent a separate mail message from the same outgoing mail host we're using, and also, nothing shows up at Hotmail.

it appears as if Hotmail has a new policy to delete mail from certain (our) address space. this is not surprising since we use DSL and probably share the block with residential accounts, but most of the other major mail providers seem to be OK with us.

sending the saved summary via sbc/yahoo mail servers to Hotmail was successful.
