free alternative to true image of ghost
i saw somewhere on the digi site a while ago a link to a free imaging software but now cannot find it, it was in a paragraph that talked about ghost and true image. anyone seen this and know where it is?

Just a note that the free Seagate Disk Wizard IS actually a version of Acronis True Image and should allow you to create images from disk to disk. It's been a while since I used it since I have Acronis. It's a free download at Seagate. Contrary to what they may say it could as I recall be used on any brand disk. Check it out.
Also FWIW Newegg had Acronis True Image on sale with a rebate within the last few weeks so if you don't like any of the freebies you may still be able to save some dough. I think the price was 19.00 after the MIR Happy True Image news (part 2) was that a Intel board I just purchased came with with a free non trail version of True Image. Not worth buying one but if did a recent Intel build you might want to rummage through the boxes. It was cleverly hidden in with all the other bloatware.
