protools m-powered.exe application error

downloaded protools m-audio8 upgrade last night after install following directions properly ,when ever i try to open iget message on restart after install

PACEreturned registerer error. error 3 .Does any one know what his means?
after hitting ok as the prompt requests it seem that it continues with install.

when complete and i try to open program:Protools M-powered .exe Application error.the application failed to initialize properly (0xc00000ld)click ok to terminate.

i've tried un-insall re-install many times.install updated pace drivers,use pro tool utilities,remover all plug-in from common folder.
I reinstalled pt mpowered 7.4 and all is fine.retry installing upgrade to 8 properly and it the same as the above problem

please help i'm running out of options

Have you done all the optimizations in the Getting Started Guide as well as the General Troubleshooting thread before running the installers?

If not - please do so. Most likely this is a driver install issue caused by having some device or software running in the background that's conflicting with the installer.

i tried the pro tools optimization tips as you sugested in the previous post. i still get the same error on install when trying to install maudio update pt8. its been 2 days now and it still gives the same error. i unistalled pro tools 8 and reinstalled 7.4 and it loads without a glich.there has to be something interfering with the pace interlok ,after install of update 8 on first restart after install it gives message PACEreturned error.3 hit ok . when i try to start program i get message (protools m-powered.exe application error) the application failed to initialize properly.0xc00001d click ok to terminate.

it must be some of the changes in pt8 because 7.4 works perfectly for me.

and I been trying for 4 days now so I want back to PT 7.4 untill someone finds a fix for AMD Athlon.
