Default "GRM tools" and AAX support

Does anybody know if "GRM Tools" will be released in AAX. I could not find a "support" link on their website...

It looks like I didn't search hard enough. I found a support link and posted an email. I'm now waiting for some news. I will let you know.

Hello Friends,

Spotted your inquiry about GRM.

They are currently working on AAX Native support and it shouldn't be too long in coming out.

They are in the last stages of development right now.

As soon as it does we will post a news on our site:

http://www.dontcrack.com/news/

And also on the special GRM forum where you can ask any questions or get in touch directly with the developer:

http://forums.dontcrack.com/index.php?showforum=31

Regards,

Nick

I had a quick reply from Emmanuel Favreau from GRM TOOLS support / INA GRM. He said that AAX native versions are being tested and if everything goes well, they should be released when PT11 is out.

That's good news. I really like "GRM TOOLS".

Hello The golfer,

Look like Emmanuel beat me to it.

The AAX Native version is coming very soon and if you want to be the first to know about please subscribe to our newsletter at:

http://www.dontcrack.com/mail/user/subscribe.php

As soon as we have the go ahead we will be letting everybody know that the GRM AAX are out.

By the way, how do you use your GRM, I use them myself but I am always interested to know what other people do with them, as they have real wild possibilities sound-wise, some people turn guitar chords into lunar soundscapes, some take dialogue and make it into ape-like growling, drums become harps etc etc.... There's some really inventive stuff I heard sent in from our clients.

Regards,

Nick

Nick,

Thanks for the scoop. GRM Tools are amazing. I use them mainly in ProTools but also in Soundminer(VST rack) before spotting FX in Pro-Tools.

I feel like I have seen only the tip of the isberg with this bundle. I am glad there will be an AAX native version.

I will subscribe to your newsletter.

Thanks!

Hello Serge,

You are right about there being a lot of possibilities within the GRM Bundle.

I have been using them for years and I still can surprise myself by pushing them a little bit in a new direction or applying them to a sound or source that I haven't had up until now.

Hopefully you have the same experience.

Regards,

Nick
